Enjoy London Life is the business name for Grenville, a recently renovated (late 2017), 6-bedroom holiday home in North London.

I was recommended to the owner Jubed Bashir by his cousin, whom I’d known for a couple of years since creating a website for the Delhi Brasserie Indian Restaurant in Soho, London.

Jubed had initially begun by using Airbnb to advertise his holiday home. However, he recognised that by having his own website not only would he have more flexibility and autonomy in how he promoted it, he would also make more money by not having to pay a commission on every rental.

The site is pretty much a One Page Website, with the majority of the content all on the main Home / Landing Page. Most of the ‘page’ links in the navigation menu are actually direct links to that particular section on the page.

However, there are a couple of additional pages on this site, for extra details about the Accommodation itself and Guest Reviews. These are accessed from the drop-down arrows in the menu.

Just by looking at websites like Airbnb, Wimdu & Bookings.Com it is clear to see how important good quality photographs and their ‘staging’ are. I was able to connect Jubed with a photographer I know to come and take the photo’s for him.

The site includes a ‘live’ Availability Calendar which automatically synchronises with the booking calendar on the Airbnb & other booking sites the owner uses. This means that it always displays up-to-date information without the need to maintain it manually.

Unfortunately, this site was no longer live as of August 2023.
