I have known Helen for over five years, through my involvement in the local business networking group, Todconnect, which sadly closed at the beginning of 2025.

After building her own residential property portfolio locally for several years, along with her husband, she decided she wanted to take things to the next level and build a business focusing on the conversion of disused commercial property into residental dwellings, across the North West of the UK.

Through property development meet-up events she had already built up a substantial network of useful contacts and potential partners. She decided it would be advantageous to create a website to outline her precise business focus, and hopefully convert contacts to ‘partners’.

When she first approached me she had a couple of ideas for a business name, but nothing concrete. I recommended the first step was for her to talk to another of our business network friends, Angela Richards, to help her with both finalising the name and creating some branding.

The results were the logo (including its colouring), which provided an essential foundation and starting point for the website I went on to create.

Helen was then also able to provide all of the written content she wished to include on the site, which made my job a lot easier than it often is. 🙂

As well as the five pages live at the website’s launch in October 2025 – Home, About Us, Team, FAQS & Contact – I also created ‘hidden’ page templates which can be used to display future Project details (similar to these), as they are completed.

The result is a clean, fresh, and modern site which conveys the professionalism of Helen’s new business venture.
