An Ecommerce Website

The DAIO™ is an exciting new invention by a Yorkshire hairdresser. It was conceived and created with a mission to reduce the huge number of reported incidents each year of burns and damage to property from hair straightening irons.

The product is manufactured completely in Great Britain and is endorsed by the Child Accident Prevention Trust, to which it makes a donation for every DAIO™ sold in the UK.

This website is a Responsive eCommerce Website with the excellent and inexpensive Woocommerce taking care of the store and shopping cart functionality.

Social Media plays a very important role in spreading the word about this new brand and so we have made it very easy for people to ‘Follow’ and ‘Share’ the website and its content.

As well as creating the website, I have been heavily involved in other areas of developing the business including much of the logistics and general operations processes.

It has been a very interesting and diverse project to be involved in.

Update 2021: Unfortunately this business is no longer trading and the website no longer available. 

Alan Rogers has been instrumental in helping us to get the DAIO to market. Initially, Alan provided an IT service to us which included designing and building the-DAIO ecommerce website. Since then he has been involved in the operations and logistics of the business and has been a fundamental part of the team. Alan is a very affable and helpful person to have in the business and is prepared to roll his sleeves up and do what he needs to do to help. However, Alan also voices his own opinions which are based on many years of business experience and are always logical and well-thought through. He has been a major asset for us.
