Customology Website Portfolio
This is a small and simple website for a local community group that wanted a small and simple website to keep their members, and potential members, better informed of their upcoming events.
The Todmorden Antiquarian Society is a local history group that was established in 1965 and held its first meeting on 27th April at the former Calder College on Burnley Road. Now, nearly 60 years later, after quite a few different meeting places along the way, it’s back where it started – although it’s now called Todmorden Learning Centre and Community Hub!
The old-fashioned script font used for the website title in the Home Page header (Cloisters Black) is taken from an existing Events Programme booklet the group had already established. I also incorporated the existing Society logo too.
The images used within the site were taken from a vast library of historical photos the Society had amassed over many years, and the website also links to a Photo Library / Repository which is stored on a 3rd-party site. If you’re local to Todmorden then you will find many, many other photos of interest on here. It’s well worth a look.
